AeroTag Active RFID Reader - 2.4GHz

The 2.45 GHz Active Reader is a technological breakthrough that allow use of worldwide free band of 2.4Ghz (same as Bluetooth, WiFi) for Active RFID applications at a low cost and compact design.

The reader comes with a standard antenna for 100-150 ft communication range but other more powerful antenna options are avaialble to extend range or limit directionality.

It comes with s special anti-collision algorithm that allow detect of 80 Tags per second. In addition we have taken care of problems due to other 2.4GHz devices operating in same environment and Health & Saftey issues. Reader is available with communication options like RS232, Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth or GPRS/3G.

The 2.4MHz Active Tag work with 2.4Ghz Active RFID Reader provide dby us. Tage is designed to be compact, rugged, water resistant and with long battery life.

Tags are issues to people. assets or vehicle that needs to be tracked and are detected by the AeroTag 2.4GHz Active RFID Readers installed on Gates, Buildings or roads.

The tags support Read/Write operations upto 200Ft depending on the Reader antenna. It has been designed to give good performance in harsh conditions like metallic surroundings, concrete walls, water/humidity etc.

Tag Temperature Sensor

2.4Ghz Tag with Temperature Sensor

The Temperature Sensor Active Tag is used to idetify and perform temperature monitoring of items. The sensor is separated from the main body of the Active Tag.

The sensor monitors the temperature in real time with interval of one minute. The Tag sends the temperature information every 20 seconds together with its unique personal idetification. The sensor is placed 8" away from the Tag for remote temperature monitoring. The temperature sensing is not affected by the presence of the Tag, nor is the electronics of the Tag affected by the sensed temperature.

A reading range of (100-150) ft in free space is achieved with the Active RFID Reader, with anti-collision rate of more than 1000 Tags per minute.

The Active tags transmit this information to a remote Active RFID reader.The goal of a radio-frequency identification (RFID) system is to generate data that can be acted on to boost efficiency, cut costs or provide other business benefits. Active RFID, which has a power source in Active Tag, is becoming a rapidly growing ‘sleeper’ technology.
